Our Story

Afro Nudist ATL was born from a simple yet powerful idea: redefining freedom, self-acceptance, and empowerment within our community. It all started when our founder, Seven Jackson, grew disillusioned with Atlanta's entertainment scene and sought something truly transformative. His journey began with an invitation to a nudist camp by a close Caucasian friend. It was a life changing experience that came with a sobering realization: not a single Brown face was in sight!

Determined to change this, Seven set out to create a space where people of color could experience the same liberation, self-confidence, and empowerment he had discovered. However, breaking through centuries of stigma and fear was no small feat. Convincing Black men to embrace vulnerability and strip down—not just physically, but emotionally—in a non-sexual, judgment-free environment was no easy task.

The first gathering of Afro Nudist ATL was a revelation. On a quiet Sunday afternoon, Seven took eight of his friends to the nudist property. They experienced what he calls “Brown Nude Paradise.” The overwhelming sense of freedom and joy felt in that moment became the foundation of a movement. One friend described the day as “one of the best of my life. After twenty minutes, I forgot I was even naked.”

Yet, as Afro Nudist ATL grew, it faced relentless challenges. From racist hostility at traditional nudist venues to outright sabotage, the journey was anything but easy. Despite this, Seven's resolve never wavered. He endured disrespect and exclusion, even as the movement brought tens of thousands of dollars to these spaces. The vision of creating safe, empowering environments for Brown nudists was far greater than any obstacle thrown in the way.

Today, Afro Nudist ATL stands as a testament to resilience, community, and the transformative power of self-love. We are a non-judgmental, fear-free collective that values freedom, authenticity, and the beauty of being unapologetically ourselves. Our journey has not been easy, but it has been worth it. Together, we continue to build spaces where Brown bodies are celebrated, not just accepted, and where empowerment is a shared experience.

This is more than a lifestyle—it’s a movement. Welcome to Afro Nudist ATL!
